My Honey Play Box Frenzy Review: The Best App-Controlled Plug?

,

Let’s start with a confession: I’m nodding and smiling while reading the manual for this Honey Play Box Frenzy review, but my brain is actually thinking, “Please don’t let this be another gadget that dies the second I walk into the bathroom.” We’ve all bought those toys that promise “long-range” only to have them disconnect if a literal breeze passes between the phone and the plug.

The “First Impression” Reality Check

The Frenzy is a rotating anal vibrator designed for P-spot stimulation. It’s sleek, but let’s be honest: it’s on the shorter side. I’m looking at it thinking, “Is that actually going to reach the P-spot, or am I just vibrating my porch light?”

For some guys, that short stature might mean it misses the “sweet spot” entirely. If you don’t know what I mean by the P-spot, check out my post about anal play here.

The Good: Connection is King

If there is one thing that drives me nuts, it’s tech that fails when things are getting good.

  • Bulletproof Bluetooth: I tested this thing across my entire house while it was tucked inside my Tantaly doll, Cecelia. No drops. None. If you want to hand the controls to your wife while she’s in the other room, you’re golden. Hell, the app allows you to generate a link to share to anyone you like. This goes for all their toys.
  • The “Grip to Move” Feature: This is cool. It’s a feature where the toy reacts to your ‘clinching’ movement. It’s marketed for Kegel training. If you’ve got a “strong grip,” it’s a fun challenge. You can turn down the sensitivity so it does not go off on the slightest clinch, but the ass hole might be a little too tight for this. It will go off during insertion, which makes insertion harder to be honest.
  • Waterproof: Honestly, its a must have and the Frenzy is a no problem in that department. Easy Magnetic charger allows for easy charing.

The Bad: The “Gravity” Problem

I was testing this standing up, and well… it fell out. The short length and the weight distribution mean that if you aren’t horizontal or wearing some snug gear, it might make a break for it.

  • Physical Controls: Toy control in the app is easy and great, but if you want to take this into the shower and change the level, good luck. The control buttons are on the side facing the body. So you would have to get a finger between you and the toy to change a vibration or rotation. No fun!
  • Intense Mode: The app has an “Intense Mode.” It sounds great on paper: max rotation, max vibration! But it only lasts for 10 seconds. My brain is like, “Ten seconds? I can’t even find my rhythm in ten seconds.” It feels like a teaser rather than a feature.

Noise Level Test

Let’s talk about the “Can the kids hear this through the wall” factor.

  • Measured Volume: 69.2 dB (Max Rotation)
  • Sound Type: High-pitched, mechanical whirring.
  • Comparison: Very similar to an electric toothbrush on high.
  • Verdict: It’s definitely not “stealth.” While it drops to about 60.7 dB with the door closed, that high-pitched rotation noise carries. Safe for the bedroom, but maybe don’t use it if you have guests crashing on the couch right outside.

The Pros & Cons

ProsCons
Incredible Bluetooth range Short length (might miss P-spot)
Grip-to-move feature for Kegels Falls out easily when standing
Solid build quality Intense mode is too short (10s)

Final Verdict

If you are looking for a toy with a rock-solid app connection and you plan on using it while lying down (and maybe while doing some pelvic floor work), the Honey Play Box Frenzy is a solid contender. But if you’re a taller guy or someone who needs a deeper reach to hit the prostate, the short length might leave you wanting more.

Who should buy this? Husbands looking to experiment with app-controlled play who value a stable connection over everything else. Who should skip? Guys who prefer “standing” play or those who need a longer reach for P-spot satisfaction.
